Auro natural paints use only natural ingredients and absolutely no petro chemicals or alkyd resins in their makeup, they are also the only paint company to be accredited as CO2 neutral in manufacture making them the most sustainable paints on the planet in our estimation. Using only plant and mineral pigments allows Auro to keep ninety two standard colours in beautiful, subtle earth tones. On previously painted walls remove any flaking or unstable paint, wash down with sugar soap or Auro 435 cleaner , two coats are recommended. On fresh (dried!) plaster use one 'mist' coat (Water the paint down by up to 20%) and two top coats. Use diluted Auro 301 Plaster Primer on plasterboard followed by two top coats, especially if choosing darker toned colours .
