Eco-Wool (Non-Itch)

Eco-Wool (Non-Itch)
Eco-Wool is a fibre loft insulation made from 85% recycled plastic bottles. It is a non-irritant and non-itch material, free from floating fibres or dust, making it very safe, clean and easy to install. It is unaffected by water, provides good acoustic properties and has long term stability and durability of more than 50 years.

Every one tonne of recycled plastic bottles used for the manufacture of Eco-Wool saves one and a half tonnes of carbon emissions, so has a positive effect on the environment. It is also fully recyclable.

Eco-Wool is designed for use in ventilated and unventilated lofts, between rafters under tiled or slated pitched roofs or between studding in timber-frame walls with a water-resistant cladding.

Eco-Wool is manufactured to a provide a thermal conductivity of 0.0425 W/m.K. and can achieve a U-value of 0.14 if laid 300mm deep in a loft.
